I hold Standard First Aid and Mental Health First Aid (Youth), which help me support both the physical and emotional safety of students. These qualifications make sure I’m prepared to respond to medical emergencies as well as moments of emotional distress with calm, knowledge, and care. They reflect my ongoing commitment to protecting and supporting the students I teach.

This artifact represents formal training in emergency response, risk management, and safety procedures. It shows my commitment to student well-being and my readiness to respond effectively in emergency situations. This certification reflects the OCT Standards of Professional Practice and Commitment to Students and Student Learning by making sure I’m prepared to maintain a safe environment where students are protected and supported.

This artifact represents specialized training in recognizing mental health concerns and responding to children and youth who may be in emotional distress. It shows my commitment to supporting students’ emotional safety, belonging, and well-being in school settings. This certification aligns with the OCT Standards of Professional Practice and Leadership in Learning Communities by promoting trauma-sensitive support strategies and contributing to a collaborative approach to student care.
